Yesterday’s newsletter said there would be a sloppy Jumps bet at Newton Abbot.

It won, we forgot to post it, we missed the bet, we kicked ourselves for missing the bet (#noaftertiming), but more than anything it got us very excited for the upcoming Jumps season.

Betting National Hunt races can be easier than the flat. Okay, so there are a load of obstacles in the way, but often in novice/open races (in extreme conditions) there are really only a few horses in the field that can win.

Take yesterday, IMPERIAL MEASURE was a proper, stamina laden, slop horse against a field of bad, fast ground horses who didn’t cut it as Flat horses. He won easily.

The number of bad, slow horses in Jumps racing cannot be overstated and nearly always there is a good play to get risk on.

Flat for show, jumps for a pro.

The Young Blood previews, that have been a total revelation this season (we’ll get a thread of all the winners in due course, it’s been insane), will be replaced by bumper previews - we’re very, very bullish… buuuut still in need of cool name for the content. ‘Bumper preview’ simply won’t cut it.

Anyway, we’re still in flat mode, so, let’s dive in.

You’ve all heard of Viagra. The one time, pump and dump pill. Lasts what - 30 minutes? Rubbish.

For the first time ever, Cialis is available without prescription. And boy it’s an absolute game changer.

Approved for medical use only in 2003, the French call it ‘le weekend’ because basically this thing lasts in your system for 3 day.

Boner’s on demand, for 3 three days!

Perfect for a weekend away when you know you’re going to need a little help.

Try it through UK MEDS, use discount code EQUINTIES10 and thank us later.

P.S. None of this is medical advice but we’ve tried it…

HEADLINE ROUNDUP

RIP CYRNAME

Yesterday National Hunt fans were hit with the sad news that the incredible CYRNAME had passed away at the early age of 11.

As with the great stars of our game that are no longer with us, this one was a tough one to take as although he was prone to throw in a stinker – boy was he good at his best.

Yet, being able to go from a 150-rated handicapper to the highest-rated chaser in the game was what made him so special. To top off his rise to the top, he pitched up in the Grade 2 1965 Chase at Ascot on November 23rd, 2019 and ended ALTIOR’s 19-race unbeaten streak.

He certainly was an amazing horse – rest in peace, CYRNAME.

AL MAK-MOVING HORSES

Prominent owner Sheikh Mohammed Obaid Al Maktoum has had his final runner with Simon & Ed Crisford as he is set to move all of his horses up north to Karl Burke.

The Newmarket-based operation has been successful with the famous yellow and black colours for several years, notably with OSTILIO AT Royal Ascot in 2018. However, in a recent move that has seen the 112-rated EL DRAMA move from Roger Varian to Burke’s yard, the horses stored in Newmarket with the Crisfords have followed suit.

Enough of the news, time for the previews…
