Equinties - the world pool

Gm, Equinauts
We spoke at length yesterday about the difference between British and other racing nations when it comes to gambling, their betting eco-system’s and the benefits of a pari-mutuel system for both racing and the punters.
In a timely fashion, news on the added World Pool fixtures were announced yesterday and it looks like Britain and Ireland will benefit with meetings such as the Shergar Cup, July Cup and Irish Oaks all being included, subject to approval by the Hong Kong government.
This is very very bullish for racing, owners and punters long term.
Now let’s dive in!
HEADLINE ROUND UP
THE WORLD POOL
The Tote’s CEO, Alex Frost, has been instrumental in the expansion of the World Pool in the UK but why is this so important to you and racing?
Well, let’s look at meetings such as the Ebor as a case in point. There’s a reason why every single race has a prize money offering at a whopping £100k, and more, NO race is worth less than £20k over it’s entire flat season. That is purely down to the additional returns the World Pool brings to the tracks.
Do you understand now? This is massive reason both industry people and punters who want (and need) the best racing product must support the Tote.
If you’re a punter who wants to take advantage of deep liquidity and unrestricted stakes, play it here: Tote | Offers
By opening an account with the Tote, you can also play for tomorrow’s Scoop 6 prize of £275k!
KEMPT-ON
Sorry, we had to.
Kempton has passed its Friday inspection which means tomorrows card is looking very promising to go ahead, should there be no late overnight freeze.
If Warwick can get away with it too, we have a good Saturday on our hands and the £275k Scoop 6 prize will be up for grabs. That said, Warwick isn’t looking good right now and will need to see improvement before they can put the frost covers down and they’re ging to be below freezing from sunset to morning of the race.
Come on racing gods, give us Warwick!
If we do get lucky and racing goes ahead, why not get studying early? Here are the Scoop 6 races:
13.15 2M 4F HANDICAP CHASE
13.40 2M 1F GRADE 3 HANDICAP CHASE
14.25 2M HANDICAP HURDLE
14.55 3M 5F CLASSIC CHASE
15.17 2M 5F LANZAROTE HURDLE
15.32 3M 1F HANDICAP HURDLE
WIN AND YOU’RE IN
The Breeders' Cup has revealed that qualifying races for the "Win and You're In" program will take place in 14 different countries across five continents during the 2026 season. This marks the 20th anniversary of the Challenge Series with top-tier races racing from Argentina, Canada, Chile, England, France, Ireland, Japan, Peru, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, South Korea, the United Arab Emirates, the United States, and Uruguay included in this year's line up.
The full 45-race global schedule is now available online (check the official Breeders' Cup site for details below), while the North American races — including those in Canada — will be confirmed and released in the spring once final racing calendars are set.
More, the Breeders' Cup is providing $6.5 million in complimentary entry fees for the 2026 qualifiers - what an incentive. Every winner of a Challenge Series race will earn an automatic entry (with fees covered) in the corresponding division at the 43rd Breeders' Cup World Championships, in October at Lexington. This bullish commercial approach only continues to strengthen the pathway for the best horses to meet each other on the racings biggest stage.
