He has two entries, one for York’s Ebor and one for the Group 1 Goodwood Cup, the latter being the most likely option.
Good to have you back, Dave.
Let’s dive in.
BGP FANTASY LEAGUE COMP
We’ve been hyping up the TOTE’s new Fantasy game since we found it. Why? Simply because there is nothing else out there now which can help people cage the betting chimp while maintaining an emotional interest in the big races of the day.
People bet way too much and the Fantasy allows you to get limited risk on, fill your brain up with the dope it craves and still be in the mix for a big win.
If we hit 100 stables today, top of the BGP private league get’s a new ‘GM’ cap.
HEADLINE ROUND UP
The Racing League IS BACK
Everyone's favourite Racing League is back tomorrow and despite the brilliant prize money on offer, the competitive handicaps have failed to attract full fields across the board.

In fact, no race has a full field of 14 and the opener has attracted just 8 to the 5f nursery handicap, something that has both disappointed Chief Executive Jeremy Ray and fuelled the opinions of racing fans like Kieron:
However, like we said last year, give the Racing League a chance.
£51,000 to the winner of the Class 2 closing handicap is just 10K less than the Bunbury Cup and the same as a Victoria Cup - add the 3x 50K handicaps and the remaining 25K contest and you’ve got what racing has been crying out for.
With every horse presumably trying owed to the the points, prize money, and jockey trainer bonuses, you have yourself some serious betting heats.
Roll on Thursday we say.
Looking forward
Any ante-post punter reading today will have a few future races in mind already … no doubt every single Cheltenham Festival race next year, possibly even every single race of the 2025 Cheltenham Festival, maybe Goodwood, potentially l’Arc but surely they have to be looking at the Ebor.
Cheltenham Festival chat is rife and already running riot on Racing Twitter , or Racing X as it might be referred to in future…
Seeming as most think he will stay hurdling, how about a ‘Related Double’?

I get it, Cheltenham is the best…BUT WE’RE 8 MONTHS AWAY.
For the more sensible and less ‘click baity’ types, one race that can offer a bit of value one month away is the lucrative handicap, the Ebor, especially when big names from the RP are taking a swipe at this early stage.
Word of warning for those eyeing up the market, if you were taken by SWEET WILLIAM’s win on Saturday, you may want to hold off from backing the 10/1 joint favourite as he is unlikely to go to this race… unless 20 entries suddenly get lost.
😍 Smooth... very smooth

The handicapper has taken a lenient view of his three length Newbury win and has raised him just 7lbs making him rated 95, putting him as #54th in queue for a a race that only allows 22 in.
Still, at least that should be one less to worry about.

And finally, following her brave second to EMILY DICKINSON on the weekend,
What a day for team @Ballydoyle! A treble already on the card as Emily Dickinson lands the G2 Comer Group International @curraghrace Cup under Ryan Moore 🏆

Although a tilt at the Prix Jean Romanet is not being ruled out, the 5 year old will be hoping a return to better ground can see her back to her best for the 1m Group 1 contest next month.
She is currently 16/1 with EMILY UPJOHN at 3’s, SOUL SISTER at 7/2 and the forever bridesmaid BLUESTOCKING 10/1 ahead of her in the market.
YOUNG BLOOD
18.35 SANDOWN - a maiden for fillies.
TALLULABELLE ran well on her first two outings and then was found wanting at Royal Ascot. The significant drop in grade against a few debutants with Buick on her back will make her hard to beat today.
MIAHARRIS was pin hooked from 60k to 210k by Mick Murphy, a very handsome profit for the Irishman. By ZOUSTAR o/o a HOLY ROMAN EMPEROR mare, ZOUSTAR has done well with the DANEHILL line. The dam was a listed winner and Gr3 placed and has produced a Listed winner and multiple Group placed fillies.
TOOSHA by DANDY MAN makes her debut today. She is the first foal o/o a mare who was placed at 2. Was a good type as a yearling, watch market
NATURALIA by SEA THE MOON, dam was Gr1 placed in Brazil. The drop to 5f isn’t an obvious one considering her breeding but the stiff track will suit.
REFLEXION FAITE has a lot more to find and is more likely running for a mark.
LITTLE WHITE DOVE is best watched on debut.
Verdict: As the market suggests TALLULABELLE will take a lot of beating going off her Hilary Needler form two starts back and should be lev today.
STATS OF THE DAY
Burke is 2 from 2 in the 14.45 and sends MAKING DREAMS for the hat trick. A bit to find on ratings but with cut in the ground and the step back up to 7 gives her a place chance in a race Burke targets.
FEUD 15.55 got going late to win well lots suggesting this new trip will work in his favour. Extended trip for Beckett too… just over a quarter of his runs win when the yard travel this far for a race, a better strike rate than SMP who also makes the journey.
HAAF A DIAMOND 18.45 goes for Kevin Frost with Alex Voikhanskg back in the plate. Trainer/jock are 2 from 3 at Leicester all time.
SMP remains in good form and landed a stat for us Monday. He runs TROOPER BISDEE 19.20 again after a good win lot. SMP lands 1 in 3 when running horses again within a week of a win. Watch out for de Foy’s CONGRUENT, yard are 5 from 6 in these types of races at track all time. Thats incredibly bullish but, Big but… would need to be a complete plot as despite her breeding has shown nothing yet. de Foy has another horse today with a bullish stat next to its name… MC LOVEN. Trainer/jock (Jack Mitchell) are 2 from 2 at course this season and 3 from 8 all time. 10’s into 5’s… gamble?
RISK ON
Two bets at Newbury coming up, one will be a hell of a price so protecting bank and playing only one today. We did like PREPENSE back down in class but she's been smashed and no price now.
20.20 SPIRIT OF BREEZE
Top on ratings and can finally start to repay his expensive price tag. Should be fine on ground. Half bet at 2’s.
