A well-rumoured piece of news was confirmed yesterday as Goffs announced that Chris Giles, the owner of the likes of SILVINACO CONTI and STAY AWAY FAY, is having a dispersal sale.

The sale will see 10 of his horses - including the Paul Nicholls-trained REGENT’S STROLL and Fergal O’Brien-trained OAK GROVE - go under the hammer at the Doncaster Summer Sale.
No comment has been made from Paul Nicholls (his main trainer) or Giles, but with the way the National Hunt programme is, one can imagine that it was getting too costly for him.
