It almost seems like an age ago since we were basking in the Berkshire sunshine, but it really wasn’t long ago!

The best two-year-old performances of the week came from Ballydoyle thanks to BEDTIME STORY (the most impressive) and FAIRY GODMOTHER.

Why is this relevant? Well, for FAIRY GODMOTHER, she received a notable form boost yesterday as her stablemate, JANUARY, comfortably won the Listed Churchill Stakes at Tipperary.

On debut, she finished two lengths behind HEAVENS GATE and two starts after that she was third in the Group 2 Airlie Stud Stakes, a race that saw CALIFORNIA DREAMER finish second.

Both HEAVENS GATE and CALIFORNIA DREAMER were behind FAIRY GODMOTHER in the Group 3 Albany Stakes, so not only have they improved since to frank the form, but the horses they’ve separately beaten have also done the same.

All the talk may be on BEDTIME STORY going forward, but don’t forget about her very talented stablemate either.
