Equinties - Sandown Saturday
Gm Equinauts
It’s Saturday, England are playing, perfect betting conditions at Sandown… we know it’s miserable weather but you really can’t beat these sort of Saturdays!
Let’s dive in.
HEADLINE ROUNDUP
SANDOWN SLOP
Jockeys leaving Sandown on Friday reported the ground was on "the slow side of good" having experienced a good deal of rain on Friday.
The conditions honed in on Sandown yesterday which forced some horses to become non-runners, but the official going at the track at the end of play was good ground.
Speaking before the final race on Friday, Cooper said: "We'll see what the night brings, particularly in the period between now and midnight, which has the greatest risk of rain. In terms of the ground it will be a case of taking stock early in the morning depending on what we've seen overnight."
Well, the night brought a lot!
It hasn’t stopped raining over Esher and the track is expected to be a bog by race time. Perfect!
Going @Sandownpark now Soft, Good to Soft in places after 16mm of rain in last 24 hours. More rain around too...
