Gm Equinauts
One bet, one winner yesterday.
PREPENSE was the bet of the day but glad Moore’s SPIRIT OF BREEZE got it done.
One bet, one win (should have been a double).

Let’s dive in.
BGP FANTASY LEAGUE COMP
We’ve been hyping up the TOTE’s new Fantasy game since we found it. Why? Simply because there is nothing else out there now which can help people cage the betting chimp while maintaining an emotional interest in the big races of the day.
People bet way too much and the Fantasy allows you to get limited risk on, fill your brain up with the dope it craves and still be in the mix for a big win.
If we hit 100 stables today, top of the BGP private league get’s a new ‘GM’ cap.
HEADLINE ROUND UP
YLANG YLANG is back
News was bearish yesterday, however, we should all be excited to see YLANG YLANG out for Aidan O’Brien and Ryan Moore in the Group 3 Silver Flash Stakes at Leopardstown.
Remember the name 👀
Ylang Ylang (Frankel) makes the perfect start for Aidan O'Brien and this 1.5m gns filly could be pretty exciting for @Ballydoyle after a lovely debut at @curraghrace

By FRANKEL out of SHAMBOLIC, a SHAMARDAL half-sister to Group 1 winner VIVA PATACA, the two-year-old filly is the 10/1 favourite for the 1000 Guineas already following her facile win at the Curragh last month.
Although she is priced at 1/4, it might not be the penalty kick the market suggests as MYSTERIES was good for his son Donnacha and finished third to Aidan’s impressive MATRIKA on debut and a few in here could relish the step up in trip.
All eyes on Racing TV later today, of course, while keeping your third eye on the Racing League.
DUBAI MILE out
Group 1 winner DUBAI MILE is out for the rest of the season having sustained an injury to his near-hind fetlock in a piece of work at his new home of Martyn and Freddie Meade’s.
Dubai Mile was preparing for the G2 Sky Bet York S. when he suffered a conjugal fracture on his near-hind fetlock. He underwent surgery that was deemed a success but will be out for the remainder of the year.

He was set to run in the Group 2 York Stakes this weekend, however, he suffered a conjugal fracture on his last piece of work in a “freak accident”.
Martyn Meade added: “We managed to get him straight up [to] Newmarket, where he has been operated on and it has been pinned. That appears to be a success.
“We will have to assess how he recovers from that surgery and assess whether or not he will have a racing career or whether he will be going to stud.”
We wish connections and Dubai Mile the best.
The list
Finally, and this came out of nowhere, a leak was circulating around Racing Twitter yesterday that suggested multiple high-class Aidan O’Brien horses are now not in training with the master of Ballydoyle.
Several have asked about the sun article here it is

Tweeted by Imelda Parker (@rekrap24), a list that includes Jersey winner AGE OF KINGS, STATUETTE, and CARRACCI, a horse who is declared to run tomorrow, are out of training.
Now, we don’t know who this Imelda Parker is, but he seems to have his head in the game after just a scan of his homepage.
And even The Sun ran an article on the story, not their only racing piece of the day, however, their other article got them into a bit of trouble.
Keep eyes on this as this account, they could have their darts on bullseye if we don’t see any of these for a while/again.
YOUNG BLOOD
17.12 SILVER FLASH STAKES
YLANG YLANG is by FRANKEL o/o 3 time Listed placed mare SHAMBOLIC, Magnier and his Coolmore partners forked out 1,500,000gns for her. Considering Aidan O’Briens runners come on a lot for the run she made a very promising debut. She has been well found in the market.
MYSTERIES by NO NAY NEVER went in the tracker after a good solid debut and duly backed up that promise with a tidy win at Cork nto. The form isn’t great but she ran on her own and won going away. Step up to 7 will suit, Dam was best over a mile (won on heavy)
NEMONTE was bred by Anne Marie O’Brien (Aidans Mrs) and made a winning debut before a 7th at The Royal Meeting. Trip and ground won’t be an issue and they’ll be hoping they can pick up some black type with her
VESPERTILLO has been pitched in here after running 3rd on debut where she ran a stormer coming from off the pace, circling the whole field. That was a very eye-catching up run for the daughter of NIGHT OF THUNDER. Her dam is a full sister to the dam of MAGIC WAND and CHIQUITA. Interesting.
Connections of LADY CRAFTSMAN and RUSHQUEEN are hoping one of the above underperforms and they can nick some of the pot and Black type.
Verdict: We tipped YLANG YLANG on debut and will stick with her but she’s not a bet at the price. VESPERTILLO looked good on debut and could give her most to think about.
STATS OF THE DAY
Only one today:
LE REVEUR goes in the 17.20 for Mike Murphy and Michael Keady who are 2 from 3 in these types of races at Donny.
RISK ON
There’s a lot of racing on today but its quite competitive, with no stand out bets other than our own and on Shaggas.
16.15 SEA THEME
Arguably could have won last time but was a good debut beating DECORATION who in turn beat CHERRY. Well bred and…well, its Shaggas! Half bet at 4’s ew.
20.15 RANGER THUNDERBOLT
Won for BGP Capital lto. We think he’ll be hard to beat again today at 7/2. A dirty ew, full bet. Small rev fc with Eve’s at 10’s is also half a bet as its really only between these two.
RACING LEAGUE
To support the event, we’ll have a few fun plays on the following:
17.30 ZOLA POWER
Near bottom weight having not shown much…yet. His pedigree suggests he will make a nice race horse soon and if he can handle the ground, could show up in this weak contest. 10’s.
18.30 SHAHBAZ
Slop lover here. Strong fave and could be better than the rest at 5/2.
20.30 ELZAAM BLUE
LIKE A TIGER is the twitter horse today but he might need even deeper conditions than whats on offer. Osbourne has not kept it secret that his horse was purchased with the Racing League in mind so is worth a small punt at 10’s.
