Okay, okay the first bet to a milli was stupid one. Ego took over, that's it, but there's no pride in poverty.
The next attempt will strictly stick to the proven and profitable methodology - finding a match bet where one of the horses, on breeding, literally cannot win.
That aside, there were huge BOOM's coming from the BGP Capital discord yesterday as whispers that plot job WHITE RHINO 'won't lose' proved true(and inadvertently acted as lev on the only single tipped in FAMILY POT at 11/8.
I preach singles with conviction so for me, FAMILY POT and WHITE RHINO were strong af singles but what else is a group of (rehabbing) betting Degen's gonna do? DOUBLE TF UP.
When the handicapper get's his hands on WHITE RHINO, that'll be one less rhino in the wild. Well played to connections but this plot really does only highlight the unfairness of our first headline story...
So, let's dive in.
Headline roundup
McNally down but not out
Irish trainer Ronan McNally was back in the news yesterday as he completed a successful gamble at Dundalk thanks to an assured VEE DANCER victory.

This is the trainer’s first victory since he was found guilty of stopping horses by the IHRB and it seems like connections were confident yesterday as, in almost like a big fuck you to the IHRB, VEE DANCER was smashed from 5's into 15/8.
this is what it’s all about #proudfather well done #tubs#veedancer and #dylanbrownemcmonagle delighted to be part of it today ❤️

However, the eight-year-old gelding might not be hanging around for too long as he is on the for sale list alongside DREAL DEAL, ALL CLASS, and THE JAM MAN. McNally clearly divesting assets to build his appeal pot.
McNally told Racing TV: "The ban is being appealed against, it's totally unheard of to get warned off for 12 years. It's the worst penalty in Irish racing so I can't see how I am the worst person to ever come into Irish racing.
"I am very confident this will be turned around as I can't see how it can be upheld. I pray common sense prevails and we get a bit of justice."
We touched on this when the news broke, but seems fit to labour the point that McNally is getting one of the worst bans in racing history. Okay, cheating is naughty and yes, he was stupid enough to get caught but lay this case upsides that Irish scumbag Stpehen Mahon who neglected his horses to the point of THE most horrendous suffering, you have to question the IHRB's decision making.
Oisin is BACK
Oisin Murphy is set to return to the saddle tonight at Chelmsford for the first time since his 14-month ban for basically being a publicity nightmare for the BHA.

The three-time champion Flat jockey has not ridden since November 2021 thanks to his lengthy suspension, a ban that occurred due to lying to the BHA about his whereabouts (cant remember where he should have been but he was instead tearing it up in Mykonos...(probably at Scorpios beach club)) and then not self-isolating. This deceit only threw fuel on the fire after Oisin failed two alcohol tests at Chester in May 2021 and Newmarket in October 2021 so the BHA decided to throw the book at him.
The filly wins it! 🏆

This is his only ride before the weekend as he is set to jet off to Doha for three rides in three Graded races: GUBBASS, Richard Hannon’s former Newbury Super Sprint winner, FLAMING RIB for Hugo Palmer, and the former Ralph Beckett-trained MISTER STAPLE.

Clonmel main loses main attraction
As expressed earlier this week, the Jumps is quickly becoming nothing but fucking boring. Newcastle has lost a shit load of runners this morning.

It's not just the UK suffering from NR's as Clonmel loses Albert Bartlett contender CORBETTS CROSS in their Grade 3 Surehaul Mercedes-Benz Novice Hurdle. It's now basically as walkover for HIDDENVALLEY LAKE.

CORBETTS CROSS trained by Emmet Mullins is 2/3 over hurdles (and won off 130 in a handicap lto) would have served up a brilliant race to de Bromhead's nag who is unbeaten under rules.
Doyle & Marquand OUT
Husband and wife Tom Marquand and Hollie Doyle can go take a romantic injury holiday together.
The loved up duo will be recovering from injuries together over the next few months as both are set to be on the side-lines after dislocating similar joints.
Starting with Tom, he had surgery yesterday on his shoulder after dislocating it backward in his horror fall over in Australia last week.
The @ANeashamRacing trained Learning To Fly further highlighted her utter class with a stunning win in the $2m @inglis_sales Millennium, with the Justify filly unbeaten for @CoolmoreAus, @kiaorastud & partners

Stats
Lucinda Russell is 50% when sending handicap chasers to Sandown. She runs two today in the 13.50 and 16.10.
LONE STAR really has only one to beat in the 15.20 and looks to keep up her good form having won only Tuesday. Kirby lands 1 in 3 when running them this quickly after a victory.
Only 7 places in this so perhaps buying an extra place in this for your chimp acca's might be the way to go as bottom of market FULL INTENTION has finished 2nd and 3rd in this race the 18.30 the last twice. if he continues to drift, leave.
Risk on
One, maybe two bets will be posted on twitter.
