The final piece of CONSTITUTION HILL news that we will see this week was revealed by Nicky Henderson yesterday as he said the presence of mucus was gone from his stable star. 

Indicators of infection were present after another scope yesterday, so he isn’t completely out of the dark, but these are promising signs for those still holding their slips! Basically, we will know whether he is running by early next week, so keep your eyes on social media then.

As for the Champion Bumper, one of the ante-post favourites, MAUGHREEN, won’t be travelling over as she has suffered a slight setback. 

This leaves JALON D’OUDAIRIES as the fav at 6/1 ahead of stablemate ROMEO COOLIO at 8/1 and TEESHAN at the same price.

But Cheltenham is still 10 days away and it’s Saturday today, so let’s dive in.
