Let's dive in.
Headline roundup
The Kind is dead
We’ll start things off on a somber note as the Irish National Stud revealed yesterday that KICKING KING had passed away at the age of 25.
These never get easier - in horse racing, you have horses who are taken away too early due to unforeseen circumstances and you have legends of the game who live a long and happy life before passing away but they all leave great memories etched in our minds.
The KING won two King Georges and one Gold Cup and he was a legend who won the blue-ribbon Cheltenham event with such class.
💜 A National Hunt treasure!
🏇🏆 Cheltenham Gold Cup and dual King George winner, KICKING KING has sadly passed away at the age of 25.

Thank you for making our sport great - RIP KICKING KING.
Can't we enjoy a good one?
Let's talk about that bumper horse yesterday. You know, the one every one of you were on pre-gamble?
Bumper gamble landed.
Bowen couldn’t pull him up! Monster.

Olly Murphy’s INDEEVAR BLEU absolutely pissed in hard-held by Sean Bowen yesterday and put Racing Twitter into a certified frenzy leading to divisions in opinion on just how good this horse is.

Good to see.
Indeevar Blue has done that very nicely indeed.
I continue to love racing.

And of course, the ignorant.
Can’t wait to back this lad next year at 33/1 for the Supreme only to watch him pull up behind 9 Mullins horses

My thoughts?
Well, contrary to the impotent (albeit probably click bait) 'wont beat the Irish' rhetoric spouted from 'racing enthusiasts' with a limited knowledge in breeding, I'M FUCKING BULLISH ON THIS HORSE.
He's got the blood to be very good. It doesn't matter if he's trained in England, Ireland or fucking Neverland, it doesn't change his genetic make-up.
He's by super sire BLUE BRESIL, the same sire as CONSTITUTION HILL, BLUE LORD, and ROYALE PAGAILLE et al and out of a black type half sister to the mighty AL FEROF, who has produced a lovely type already for Henry De Bromhead in KAPARD. IT FUCKS.
No matter how incompetent you are at recognizing a good blood line, there's not denying what he did yesterday wasn't visually amazing.
Took a half lap just to stop him ffs.

After yesterdays performance, I did have a little peek at his price for the Supreme, as no doubt he will follow his stable mate, CHASING FIRE's path to the Festival... I didn't do that out of mere curiosity, I did it because I genuinely think he could end up the horse for the race.
I want to have a stupid play on him but 33's is way way way too short given he's run once round a field without obstacles in.
I'd want 330/1.
Alcohol Free
Oh ALCOHOL FREE, how we all love you at BGP.
She’s so classy. ALCOHOL FREE wins the July Cup on the fastest ground she’s ever encountered.
Impressive. She’s a proper BGP hall of famer, I feel bad over looking her today.

Since leaving Andrew Balding for 5,400,000GNS at the December Mares’ Sale last year, the five-year-old is now in training with Gai Waterhouse & Adrian Bott.
And finally, she has been seen on track down under as she won a trial at Randwick by a comfortable two lengths.
Alcohol Free extends nicely to win her trial by by 2-1/4 lengths from Lehndorff and Sequestered, with @mcacajamez on board for the @GaiWaterhouse1-Bott team.

What is interesting is that her 5.4 million price tag could be won back in prize money if she retains any of her British ability, and the training-duo have some big races lined up for her.
Co-trainer Bott said: “She had a nice foundation but she needed that to top her off, so she should be ready to go for The Championships now.
“The real targets we have for her are in the spring - she’ll probably race just the once during The Championships, but we’re yet to have that chat with Yulong about what their preference will be.
“She’s been nominated for a few races that will be suitable on each of the weekends, and they include the Doncaster and the Queen of the Turf over the mile, and the All Aged over the 1400 metres.”
Eyes could also be on The Everest as that’s what the rumours were when she was initially bought, but only time will tell.
Asian money
And speaking of prize money, it seems like Silvestre De Sousa has been having a whale of a time over in Hong Kong as the former UK regular has been on good form since switching jurisdictions.

So, who is our new sponsor?
UK Meds is an online clinic where you can get medications delivered to your door. Handy if you can’t be arsed to have those awkward convos with your doctor face to face!
UK Meds has just won the distribution rights to MYRKL and you are the first to hear about it!
Myrkl is a miracle pill that makes you feel fresh the next day, after the fun of the night before.
I'm serious. It works and that's the only reason they're sponsoring the newsletter. I swear by it so much, I reached out to UK Meds asking if I could work with them - and here we are now, plugging it to you.

13.30 BANNOW BAY BOY
Betting this chap on potential over form at even money. Running against badly bred horses, this lad will come good soon and I think the Ffos Las track and slop will suit him today.
15.00 TUDDENHAM GREEN
Weird bet here taking on 4/7 fave. Venetia's is odds on and the market says it shits in. BUT, I have this weird thing about fresh imports and I like to take them on (I think most of them need to acclimatize). 6/5 for Kings is a good price for a two horse race with negatives for the fave imo.
