Equinties - Irish Guineas weekend

Gm Equinauts
A huge weekend of racing over in Ireland this weekend. It’s Irish Guineas time!
Let’s dive in.
HEADLINE ROUND UP
SO HOT
We love this time of year. Hot weather and hot horses.
TOO DARN HOT had a fun little day yesterday as two of his offspring unveiled themselves as smart juveniles. The first came at Haydock as FITZELLA won the six-furlong maiden on her second career start, and this performance can be instantly upgraded.
🗣️ "We've loved her since day one."

Firstly, she absolutely bolted up, and she wasn’t even the SP favourite! Richard Hannon’s TAHALEL went off fav, and apparently she’s one of Hannon’s hot juveniles for this season, so to put three-and-a-half lengths between herself and the second is impressive.
Trainer Hugo Palmer has Royal Ascot plans for her as well, as he said: "I think she was our most expensive yearling last year, and she's done it with the minimum of fuss.
"She's going to go up massively in grade as I think we'll go for the Albany over six. She's gorgeous and beautifully bred and could eventually be a miler."
She’s a nice horse, and so is yesterday’s other winner for TOO DARN HOT. That is, of course, WILD DESERT.
Wild Desert looks a very smart prospect for the Charlie Appleby team a he runs on impressively under Billy Loughnane in the Betfred Supports Jack Berry House Novice Stakes! 🥇

Yep, the half-brother to SHADOW OF LIGHT and EARTHLIGHT put on a show under Billy Loughnane in what was the first seven-furlong two-year-old race of the UK season. There’s a bit of knowledge.
One can imagine that he’ll get further in time, and while no immediate target has been highlighted yet, he looks like a smart one. Lovely day for TOO DARN HOT.
AMO!
The Amo camp will have a spring in their step this morning as it looks like they have a certified monster over the pond based in Wesley Ward’s camp.
$850,000 price tag and he can run alright! Outfielder kicks his rivals out of the way on debut for Wesley Ward and @amoracingltd at @ChurchillDowns!
Royal @Ascot next?

That electric performance was over 5f so if he comes over for RA (big Wes loves bringing them over) then they’ll likely head to the Norfolk Stakes!
