We thought we’d front run a big gamble yesterday as our Young Blood pick PRIMO LARA was subject to a monster gamble, smashed from 12’s into 3/1 fave.
He was given a cold ride out the back and motored home in the final stages to look as if he got placed third but the result was only 4th. He looked good when it clicked and he’ll definitely be winning big pots for Jane and owner Peter Harris who look to have another good one on their hands.
The best horse didn’t win on the day but that’s gambling.
Now, let’s dive in.
You’ve all heard of Viagra. The one time, pump and dump pill. Lasts what - 30 minutes? Rubbish.
For the first time ever, Cialis is available without prescription. And boy it’s an absolute game changer.
Approved for medical use only in 2003, the French call it ‘le weekend’ because basically this thing lasts in your system for 3 day.
Boner’s on demand, for 3 three days!
Perfect for a weekend away when you know you’re going to need a little help.
Try it through UK MEDS, use discount code EQUINTIES10 and thank us later.
p.s none of this is medical advice but we’ve tried it…
HEADLINE ROUNDUP
GRAND PLANS
You can tell the National Hunt season is only round the corner as our headline round up’s have been dominated by the big, slow plodders we all love this week and today the Grand National is a topic of convo for Martin Brassil.
“The Grand National might well end up being the long-term aim” for Martin Brassil’s DESERTMORE HOUSE after his decisive Kerry National victory.
Another National for Martin Brassil 👏

The Ricky Doyle-ridden eight-year-old was sourced through ThoroughBid’s online sale in December 2021 for £23,500 and he rewarded connections by landing the €200,000 Listowel feature.
Running in the same colours that were carried to success in the 2006 Grand National with NUMBERSIXVALVERDE, Aintree’s April feature could be the big aim for DESERTMORE HOUSE.
Brassil said: “It was after 8.00 this morning. Gordon Elliott rang me to tell me he had taken one out and that I should declare, because he had another one that they might take out because of the ground. It was a very sporting gesture by him.
“The Grand National might well end up being the long-term aim for him, we would have to start thinking about those sorts of races. I ran him in this for the experience, hoping he'd run well. He's passed a couple of tests out there today.”
WHISPERS IN THE WIND
Frankie Detroit’s worldwide farewell will roll into Paris Longchamp in less than two weeks and in the big race of the weekend, the Arc de Triomphe, Lanfranco looks likely to partner FREE WIND as he was spotted riding work on her this week.
The five-year-old by GALILEO has been kept in training to have a go at the famous Group 1 before heading off to stud.
She was a head off landing the Group 1 Yorkshire Oaks and now bookies have slashed her price for the French race after they got whiff of Frankie riding her on the gallops with the Arc less than a fortnight away.
Doesn’t it WARM the HEART…
What a battle to the line in the Yorkshire Oaks… 👇

Trainers John & Thady Gosden have highlighted the French 1m4f contest as her next target and since the recent Dettori sighting, and subsequently her price is now into 20/1 from 66/1.
In what looks like an interesting renewal of the Arc, is she your idea of the winner?
PINHOOK SUCCESS
This week the trade at Tattersalls Ireland September Sale has been strong with its average increased by 3% to €31,000 and the median by 8% to €28,000.
Some of the notable pinhooking successes featured a BELARDO colt make a healthy profit - bought as a foal in February for €6,500 and turned into a €80,000 yearling purchased by Fahey.

Castletown Quarry Stud hit another home run with their TEOFILO pinhook who went from a 21,000gns foal to a €70,000 yearling.
Michael and Lawrence Gleeson are great operators, always making a profit of their pinhooks. The brothers bought a MAKE BELIEVE colt for 17,000gns and turned it into €75,000. The family is full of black type all the way down the page, the dam is a sister to Gr1 placed KNOW IT ALL and Gr2 placed ASTROPHYSICAL JET.
Robson Aguiar is always busy at each sale, either buying for himself or Amo Racing. The Brazilian brought a smart looking WOODED yearling for €88,000. A great result for John Foley or Ballyvolane Stud who initially brought the bay colt for €15,000.
About Robson:
Amo’s secret weapon, a thread:
You’ve all seen the famous purple silks on fast horses, and love them or hate them - Amo are a unstoppable rising force in the flat game.
How are they doing it?
Well, there is one man behind their success, Robson Aguiar.

STATS OF THE DAY
Speccy one given he’s out of form this season and getting on a bit now but ROUNG THE ISLAND has won the 14.00 3x (‘18, ‘19 and ‘22 (4th in ‘21)).
in the 16.20 MANXMAN is going for his 5th win in 6 runs. The Crisford’s are 50% in these races at track.
RISK ON
Punters on the Kevin Ryan double in the first two at Ayr but just over 2’s is quite short for two novice horses.
Will tweet any more bets.
