Equinties - Glorious Goodwood final day
Gm Equinauts
A plan well executed for yard, connections and this newsletter, our old friend MASTER MILLINER hacked up in Glorious Goodwood’s opener yesterday.
Couldn’t get enough on him, MASTER MILLINER lands our own gamble and absolutely shits up!
NEWSLETTER BOOM.

MASTER MILLINER wasn’t our only winner.
We’ve sang Mick Appleby’s praises all week because he’s having a glorious Glorious Goodwood and rightly so, for a man who is best known for his work at Southwell, he deserves this success.
But, do you know who really deserves the praise? BIG EVS, that’s who.
That's got to be the race of the week 🤩
Big Evs just holds off Asfoora to take the King George Qatar Stakes 🏆

It feels like only yesterday an unknown horse called BIG EVS won the Windsor Castle at huge odds. It shocked plenty, perhaps not everyone, but we have been his cheerleader ever since.
He’s won races at Listed, Group 3, Group 2, and Group 1 level, the most recent in yesterday’s King George.
Yes, ASFOORA might well have got closer if not for LIVE IN THE DREAM drifting into her path, but that shouldn’t take away from the sheer speed and quality of BIG EVS.
There were doubts as to whether he had trained on but he’s put that to bed and although he still has to win a Group 1 at three, he’s going the right way and he deserves everything he gets!
Anyway, enough about our winners, let’s be useful here.
Usually, we wait until Monday morning for our weekend eye-catchers, but because there were so many yesterday, we’re going to slot in a couple now.
EYE-CATCHERS
First up is TASK FORCE who was third in the 14.25 Group 3 Thoroughbred Stakes.
Task Force a notable eye-catcher from the Thoroughbred Stakes.
Arguably could have won with a clean run through, as is the case with many Goodwood losers.
The great game.

He probably should have won, but the field kept him boxed him in and by the time he had chance to shoot at the winner, his time was gone. His pedigree speaks for himself - as we said yesterday - and he’ll be winning races soon without question.
The other eye-catcher is one of our favourite boys MY PROSPERO.
Although William Haggas was ready to do so in December (when he was trying to sell him for stud!), it’s not time to give up on MY PROSPERO just yet.
Of course, this could all look a bit silly if he ends up being retired in the next week, but his first run back this season was promising despite not justifying his market support before the off.
He stuck on for pressure and no doubt he’ll strip fitter for the run (and probably won’t be boxed in like he was yesterday!) all of which means he could be one to back soon. Not that he owes us anything.
We’ll back him later, for now let’s look at who we’re backing today. Let’s dive in.
