Both British jumps meetings today, Ayr and Bangor, have been abandoned leaving only the desert rats to play today which, funnily enough don’t quite whet our appetite in peak National Hunt season.
We thought this newsletter would have two winners yesterday, both shorted prices, both beaten, the last runner LOVE TREE looking like she’d bolt up at one point but just got out stayed by…well, Sammy TD!
Turned off here, how many lengths?

That’s racing and the thing to do is not chase the W. We have only posted 3 bets since Saturday - the bank can take the high and lows of gambling if you bet less and play the ones you really like, with conviction.
Let’s dive in.
Don’t forget: After giving away the Vegas trip last weekend, don’t miss our next prize - a £500 John Lewis gift voucher to help with your Christmas shopping.

MILT-OFF
As everyone knows, Milton Harris had his training license suspended this week however a relaxation in the rules of racing means all the horses he previously trained who’ve now been moved but had entries for this weekend will be allowed to race.
The BHA has temporarily relaxed rules on horses moving stables to enable owners who had horses in training with Milton Harris to have runners at the weekend following the trainer’s suspension last Saturday

Usually, a horse has to be in a yard for 14 days before being able to run, but BALBOA, WALKS LIKE MAN and SIXFIVESEVEN will all be able to run for their new trainers, a pretty favourable move by the BHA for owners who have had to pay a load of training fee’s.
The ongoing story revolving around Milton Harris will seemingly be in the dark until a hearing in January but this newsletter will be on it!
MARKET MOVE
Confirmations for the Greatwood Hurdle were released on Monday with a maximum of 18 set to head under the starter’s orders.
Stage Star, The Real Whacker, Unexpected Party and Fugitif are among 17 confirmations for the Paddy Power Gold Cup at Cheltenham on Saturday

Since then, ONLYAMATTEROFTIME, a Willie Mullins-trained seven-year-old sporting the recognisable silks of Paul Byrne, has shortened markedly for the £100,000 contest from 16/1 (with Coral) to 4/1.
Byrne has a history with the Greatwood Hurdle having won the race with THE SHUNTER in 2015, so this could have been a long-term plan, however, he was well beaten on his first hurdles start of the season with former trainer Niall Madden before being run out at Cork in August.
When asked about why he was so short, David Stevens, the head of Coral’s PR, said: “Onlyamatteroftime’s connections ensure that he’s a horse both layers and backers give plenty of respect to, and he’ll be of significant interest to us on Sunday.”
As for Paddy Power, Paul Binfield said: “There’s not been a lot of money for him – nibbles really – it’s more that he’s a Willie Mullins-trained horse who’s coming back in trip after running over further.” More: https://www.racingpost.com/news/britain/can-paul-byrne-mastermind-another-gamble-onlyamatteroftime-backed-to-land-greatwood-hurdle-on-first-start-for-willie-mullins-ajzjR7S5BwM1/
TOP PROSPECT FOR FERGAL
(E)NOS by name, NOS by nature for DYSART ENOS who finished like she’d had an injection of nitrous to the veins.
Last seen bolting up in a Grade 2 Aintree Bumper winner (we backed), she confirmed her talent over hurdles yesterday and won pulling a cart:
Very happy with that

Having opened up at 4/5, the five-year-old was sent off 1/7 and showed some nice flair over the final hurdle to please some of her biggest fans.
She is 8/1 for the Mares’ Novices’ Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival, her ultimate aim, with Gordon Elliott’s BRIGHTERDAYSAHEAD a 6/1 favourite at the moment but that’s March, what we know now is that Fergal O’Brien’s mare looks very smart indeed.
“We’ll go down the well trodden path. I’m not clever enough to do anything else”
