Let’s dive in.

HEADLINE ROUNDUP

🧠CLEVER THINKING?

Aidan O’Brien must read the newsletter.

ALBERT EINSTEIN has been entered for the Greenham!

ALBERT EINSTEIN and CONSTITUTION HILL on the same card at our home track—its like Christmas really has come early in Berkshire.

Now, the Greenham has long served as a trial—or stepping stone—for CLASSIC contenders, and this year’s renewal offers Aidan a final litmus test for his exciting colt, ALBERT EINSTEIN, ahead of a possible Guineas bid.

This is bullish. It means the Guineas is STILL their desired target, but want to make absolutely sure he’ll stay (or as sure as they can be over 7f) so as not to waste their time. The test over 7f should provide a clearer indication of both his pace and temperament, particularly against what is expected to be a competitive field of similarly progressive three-year-olds.

The colt has shown flashes of high-class ability, but his reputation has been predominantly built on Aidan’s words. The Greenham will expose the truth.

With Aidan’s Classic aspirations and our spreadsheet bet on the line, all eyes will be on Newbury to see whether ALBERT EINSTEIN can translate his homework into track performance.

Could he go back to fave after Saturday!?

🔒EVAN WILLIAMS

Reports emerging today suggest that trainer Evan Williams has been sentenced to three years in prison!

Evan Williams has been sentenced to three years in prison after being found guilty of causing grievous bodily harm with intent following an incident involving a 72-year-old man in Wales. The court heard that the attack, which took place back in December ‘24, resulted in serious injuries, including a fractured arm, after Williams beat him up with a HOCKEY STICK.

The case was heard at Cardiff Crown Court, where the jury returned a GUILTY verdict before the custodial sentence was handed down. Following the conviction, Williams has stepped away from training duties, with his wife Cath taking over.

Now, ya’ll know what we think of Evan Williams (a detestable cheat) and you’d think we’re sitting here with a smile on our face, but we’re not, and our thoughts go out to his family who must be going through a horrendous time. These things aren’t nice.

More on this as it develops.

🔵BOYS IN BLUE

With Aintree closing it’s doors whilst HQ open’s theirs, the Craven for many is the START of the flat season…

And boy oh boy do Godolphin have them lined up. Here are the horses to watch out for.

Godolphin’s main Guineas hope TALK OF NEW YORK is running, which is surprising to us given he’s done so much work in Meydan and at home, but there we are. He’s currently touted as their best 3yo…but only currently. CERRO BLANCO hasn’t debuted yet!

CERRO BLANCO comes with a huge reputation and makes his first appearance in the cards first race at 13.15. We’re expecting to see a big performance from him only because of the message, but otherwise you wouldn’t touch him with a barge pole on pedigree - his half brother was bloody useless and went over hurdles lol.

Godolphin look like they could have quite a big Craven meeting as on day 2 they also run POSEIDON’S WARRIOR who have been well backed for the Feilden Stakes.

The Godolphin treble pays 9/1 which is worth a bit of beer money! Oh and 85/1 with big ALBERT in the Guineas. That’ll be a 10%-er for us.
