Equinties - Cheltenham Sunday

Equinties

Gm Equinauts

Yesterday was one of the best days of sport in a long time. High quality racing at Cheltenham producing some memorable performances and banging content opportunties,

back to back rugby featuring England turning over the All Blacks at home for the first time since 2012, Wales converting a pen to win by 1 in the last second against Japan,

topped off by a boxing masterclass from Connor Benn versus Eubank Junior.

Well, we’ve got another day of sport help push back the Sunday scaries until the last minute. Obviously we’ve got the third and final day of the November meeting which features some nice up and coming horses amongst names we’re more familiar with,

and then as the bumper concludes racing (English) punters will keep stay tuned into ITV as England look to maintain their perfect qualifying record against Serbia.

Scotland Argentina in the rugby will also be a fun match to watch too.

Betting wise, don’t neglect the TOTE today. They’ve got another big £150k placepot on for Cheltenham. Owed to the competitive nature of the fields today, there WILL be some big payouts if you can land the six legs.

HEADLINE ROUNDUP

HENDO HYSTERIA

Big Pauls ‘he’s my new Denman’ for Hendo’s CONSTITUTION HILL has never been better. These two simply can’t help themselves with the soundbites we’ve heard over and over again.

Hendo has always thought CONSTITUTION HILL has been the best horse he’s ever trained. The way he talks about him, you’d think he’d the best horse to ever step foot on this planet. And you know what, there have been some performances where he might just well be right.

But given the disaster of last season, we did NOT expect the comments from Nicky that the racing world got yesterday.

So Nicky thinks CONSTITUTION HILL is a different horse, he’s developed physical ‘quality’, which apparently he never had before.

The question, surely, everyone is asking is why would he even bother saying this?

Everyone knows who CONSTITUTION HILL is and whether people think he’s the real deal or sadly, a fraud, as some idiots think, Nicky doesn’t need to tell people about him.

Especially since he’s due to race in the Fighting Fifth soon where all eyes will be on him.

We can’t help feel that there MUST be a reason he’s making such a big and bullish statement,

and you know what, we’re bloody listening.

Don’t forget, CONSITUTION HILL is 8yo. 7-8yo is still a period of maturation for big horses and something has obviously happened during that time out in the paddock with SIR GINO.

Nicky wouldn’t waste his breath for no reason. He must be tired of talking about him. More, it’s not like he’s got his tackle on and his stakeholders are trying to retain some stud value. He’s a gelding on a come back mission which is why this comment is so powerful.

Nicky clearly thinks we’re going to see the monster 2.0.

Whether you are reading this and thinking ‘nah not having it’, we’re excited and it’s simply adding to the excitement that the likes of Skelton, Pauling and Nicholls (with his new rocket) are bringing to this new season because right now, the British are brining better horses to the table than ever before and it’s only going to make Cheltenham great again.
