Unless you’re stood in the queue for the toilets, a snowy Cheltenham in March is NOT something you’d have thought you’d have seen today.
Horses and jockeys awoke to a flurry of snow over Prestbury Park this morning, day two of the 2025 Cheltenham Festival.
Despite the chilly conditions many braved the blizzard to fit in a warm up lap before the racing this afternoon.

It’s a light covering and we are inclined to think it won’t impact the going too much. Yesterdays nice weather meant the ground dried further and we’re currently playing good to soft, good in places.

LOSSIEMOUTH soon got one back for the punters but the weight of the collapse of all acca’s containing MAJBOROUGH would have muted celebrations.
There was only one thing for it for punters - chase on the HILL. The market move was momentous. 8/11 all morning, the late squeeze saw him at 2/1 on. In terms of a percentage market move at Cheltenham, the strength of that move cannot be overstated.
Britain’s beloved champion, who racing so badly needed in a time of strife, fell.
CONSTITUTION HILL crashed out in the Champion Hurdle before the race even got started.
