ALBERT EINSTEIN runs today, his first track appearance for over 300 days.
The big ‘freak’, as Aidan has described him, is putting his 2000 Guineas credentials on the line.
Or is he?
This is a prep run to get more experience in to him ahead of the big target, a race Aidan hasn’t won for a long, long time but amazingly, is still the most winning trainer of it.
Aidan hasn’t won the 2000 Guineas recently because he simply hasn’t had the ammunition and has instead used the historic race as a stepping stone for the Derby (think AUGUSTE RODIN and CITY OF TROY).
ALBERT EINSTEIN is different. In fact, that’s actually adjective Aidan has previously used for ALBERT. He’s a Guineas horse.
Aidan means business with this special lad, the horse who made all their other 2yo’s look slow, and is chucking him in the deep end against battle hardened older horses.
A huge statement and we’ll ride along with the hype until we crash and burn.
He is even money in some places to do the job today. Big given he’s 7/2 for May.
Let’s dive in.
