Gm Equinauts
Today’s racing is bloody brilliant. We‘ve got the jumps, we’ve got the flat, we’ve got the black type races, we’ve got competitive handicaps (featuring our tin foil hat theory), we’ve got a MAUGHREEN form line boost pending at Navan and more,
we have that man Mad Maxwell opening up play on a shortie at Donny!
QUEENSBURY BOY is arguably David Maxwell’s best horse and we’ve been eagerly awaiting his return.
🔭 QUEENSBURY BOY is certainly one for the tracker ahead of next season.
Travelled sweetly today, stayed on well, and ran through the line.
He's a smart horse for David Maxwell and @Harry05Derham.

Dave, don’t do a thing - just sit there and hold on tight!
Let’s dive in.
HEADINE ROUND UP
MAYBE MELBOURNE?
It’s easy enough to get caught up with Cheltenham and the jumps currently, and rightfully so -it’s the biggest even in jumps racing, possibly even the entire sport.
But, with the lack of breaking or relevant news yesterday and brimming with our own excitement from all the video updates of the flat horses we have an interest in, we’re going to swerve over to the Flat for an interesting quote that came from David Probert.
Hacks up!
The ultra-progressive Roaring Legend proves much the best, winning as he likes for @hpalmerracing and @davidprobert9 at @LingfieldPark!

Before the quote, let’s talk about the horse. ROARING LEGEND bolted up in the Marathon Trial at Lingfield. It was really impressive. The five-year-old by ROARING LION is a funny horse because he was a nice Flat operator for James Ferguson before transferring to the jumps for Olly Murphy.
He won two races and finished second in a Scottish Triumph Hurdle, but after nine runs over obstacles, connections have brought him back to the Flat with Hugo Palmer.
Since moving yards, he’s won three on the bounce. He was always bound to - he’s bred to be good! And now, well, Palmer could have a Melbourne Cup horse on his hands.
Jockey Probert said: "He's really improving. He's taken a massive step forward since winning at Newcastle last time and Hugo is delighted with him. He got into a nice, even rhythm and I went forward going down the hill. He lengthened well and he's got a big engine. He gave me a nice feel and could progress into a Cup horse." He looks hardy, and that’s what you need in a potential Melbourne Cup horse. Keep watch.
