But, the horse we have all nearly forgotten about is the two-time Queen Mother winner ENERGUMENE who suffered a setback to miss all of last season… out of site, out of mind.
Well, it looks like he could be back!

The Hill Way Chase has been highlighted as a potential target for the 2x 2022 and 2023 Champion Chaser, though one would question whether a 10-year-old coming back from a setback will be back to anywhere near his best. Vaild, right?
Well, we think it will be tough, especially with the likes of JONBON and GAELIC WARRIOR facing him in time with younger legs.
Still, it’ll be nice to see him back. After all, he is a legend in his own right who gave us a race of the ages when going toe-to-toe with the late SHISKIN in the Clarence House Chase:
